I purchased this 172 cheap of T'internet with the intention of turning it into a track car.
Spec
2002 172 with 88k
Fitted Apex suspension
Ferrodo DS2500 pads with Brembo discs
Goodridge hoses
De catted with a 182 stainless system and rear bumper
K&N Typhoon Ind kit
Superchips remap
I down sized the wheels to 15" Pro Race 1.2's in matt black
195/50/15 Silverstone RR tyres
Stripped the interior and fitted 2 Cobra seats with OMP harnesses
OMP front and rear strut braces
Whiteline rear roll bar
Oil changed to Millers competition 5w40
Gearbox fluids changed to Redline MTL as it was a little notchy
Fog lights removed
Airbrushed flag on rear I/4 and boot lid
I was out at Oulton on the 4th of October doing my first ever track day and TBH the Clio was amazing as it handled amazingly and fairly fast too with only a few minor moments
