Can't help but think that K&N the way it sits is going to be strangling your engine mate?

The car looks very nice ;)

ITG Maxogen if you want bling, standard airbox with ITG panel filter otherwise.

Viper is prob better than the K&N too.

well they've never been rated on here, most open induction kits aren't rated here but the viper has a following despite this.

Most go for an ITG panel filter in the standard airbox though.

Whats the hill power intake like?? so you think i should go back to a standard air intake with a panel filter

diy and get an infra-red thermometer to see how effective your Cold Air feed is, prob best bet

You lost me now haha. where my going to pic one of them up lol. i'm in the fire brigade but i'll never get hold of the thermometer.

i dont know why people go on about open air filters - It really does my head in!
So on a hot siummers day if your air filter is inside a box how does that make the air that it uses colder?? The outside air temperature is the same whether you have an open filter or an enclosed! Agreed if your car is stationary its going to be sucking in the air from the engine bay but as soon as you start moving air flow will be increased - especially if you have a cold air feed. There may be a small advantage having a maxogen or something but itll be so minimal I wouldnt bohter wasting my money - Im really happy with my open Hill Power filter (has a partial heat shield)- I have an exhaust, sports cat and hill power filter and get 186.5bhp on rolling road (with a 172) so they cant be that bad!
Plus I like the look and sound of an induction kit - I think the Viper looks a bag of s**t personally and would much prefer the K&N gen 2 kit - it has a heat shield and you have fitted 2 air feeds so should work really well imo.

sorry rant over!

indicator bulbs mate lol looks realy really well buddy you must be very proud i still dont know whether to get an unduction kit or keep with the itg panel i cant remove my bloody valve to create a better air feed...dont know really....
