My 182 RB FF - A slightly overdue thread (Picture Heavy)

So this thread is long overdue. I've had my car since October I think? Yeah lets just say that. Love it, it's a great drive, I bought it from DTM Cars in Newcastle Upon Tyne. (I would recommend them strongly for any work on your car). So yeah here it is when it was waiting for me to pick it up.

It was almost standard when I got it. It had a Miltek exhaust and that was it.

So then I took it round to my brothers where we waited on a friend to come round with his LY 182 and we took a few photo's of the cars. The cup is my brothers one.

So yeah there's my RB 182 when I picked her up. Looks PROPER high there so of course my brother said it needed lowering. And in all fairness I agreed since they do look awesome when the arches are flush with the wheels. So he went and bought me some Eibach's for christmas. How lovely of him :). So yeah here the pictures from when I got them, oh and we got rid of the welsh plates.... Didn't like that part of the car very much. Put a 3/4 plate on the front and a normal back. The brother also got me a sticker for the window.... Ginger inside.... How considerate of him. Ha.

Unfortunately all the good photo's of the car before and just after putting the springs on, I lost when I changed phones... But on a plus note, I'll be going and taking some more nice ones at some point. But for now, these will have to do.

Anyway. The other day I was offered a V6 airbox for not too much money, so I of course snapped at the opportunity. It does make the car sound a lot nicer, can't really notice a change in performance, but there is now a nice deep note that's not too loud coming from under the bonnet.

So yeah that's all the work so far on the car. I've already got a decat waiting to go on. I'll get my brother to do that whenever we get a chance. Other than the decat other plans I have are:
  • RStuner Remap
  • Paint engine cover anthricite
  • Paint inlet man. and fuel rail guard silver
  • Paint Renault badges and dash strips anthricite
  • Update rear badges
  • Tidy engine bay up
  • Restore the lights since they're a bit hazy
  • Change rear speakers since one is blown
  • Change rear shocks (Not sure what type yet, probably see what comes up for sale on here)
  • Either OZ F1's or 2118's
  • Steering wheel referb
  • Upgrade brake discs and pads
  • Probably other things too.

So yeah there it is so far. Thanks for looking!

when you fit lowering springs, do you have to change anything else? or is it just the springs? want to lower mine.

Its just the springs. My brother did mine like, but didn't look like the most difficult thing ever. The cooksport springs are nice if you're thinking of lowering.
