Friends epic civic turbo

  BG 182
Just had a text from my brother, his friend has upgraded from his 280bhp starlet glanza.

From the sale add

Here we have a1992 Honda Civic ESi shell 3 door Drag Turbo Civic.

On a previous shake down run it ran a 10.3 sec quarter mile with a terminal speed of 138mph. On our dyno it recently ran 630bhp at just 22psi on Shell V Power fuel.

The engine and cylinderhead can rev to 10,000 rpm easily. The most we have took it on our dyno is 9000-9500rpm.

This car was a 100% drag car that had to make good imes at the track as well as being street legal with an MOT.

If your looking at this advert you will most likely know how serious a civic turbo can be, especially built to this VERY HIGH standard.

The car was orignally white, but it had rust on the arches and required some work in the process we changed its colour to our company's theme colour, quick silver. The colour change has not yet been changed on the log book but this can be done with the new owner when filling the log book during the sale.

Yet to see it in the flesh, but looks like it may slay pretty much most cars!

FLOL!!!!

630bhp!!!!

Does it even weigh a tonne? I f**king love that, apart from the drivers seat... A sofa looks like it would hold you tighter!

Was up for 7k, not sure what he paid. hopefully it'll have some better seats, and It's his only car! Granted he has a work van but a trip to tesco's??

Your probably correct it will be loud, but a car with that sort of power deserves respect without a doubt, hopefully he doesn't drive it to the shops or for taking the misses to work. I'd want it to scare the s**t out of me every time I drove it, wouldnt wanna get bored, if that's possible? Torque steer FTW

He will get bored of letting it warm up and cool down all the time. Would burn a gallon just doing that every time he started it.

  Turbos.
Mental! Surely he can just have a selectable map. You can just have the 650bhp there as potential...for bragging rights!

Provided it runs nice at lower revs it looks like it should be easy to drive under 5000 revs. Batty though and bound to go wrong in that state of tune.

As it goes, it broke down on the way home from collecting it. He took it back and got his money back. Apparently all the electrics died.
