I recently sold a 205 GTI and while it was up for sale someone from IOM called me too..

However I sold it before he could arrange to come view it......

A lot of tools contacting me making offers without even seeing it. First question they ask should be "when can I view it?" and negotiation should be based on things that'll need fixed IMO
