I know about >< much about a Cayman. Does it have an ediff in it? Reason I am asking is I noted a rear brake wear warning on the dash

Nope, they have nothing. The gen 2 Cayman R came with one I believe but I think that's it.

The warning you're seeing is low brake pads, it's permanently lit because one of the four wear sensors I've got plugged in and cable tied out the way is triggering it for some reason. I unplugged and cleaned them last time I had the wheels off...and it made no difference so I've just left it for now.
