My 6x9’s

I bought some 400w 6x9s off a mate, one is in perfect nick, but i think i broke the other one earlier! Stupid or what. The whole speaker is fine, but the bit in the middle is wobbling, it aint stuck down properly!

Wots gone wrong?

Do i need to glue it or what?

Will it work again or am a screwed?

basically youve damaged the mounts for the tweeters

speaker is as good as screwed now, yes you can glue the plastic strut back together, but it wil just break again in time

take this opportunity to ditch the 6x9s and get a 10" sub in the boot, the whole sound in the car will improve

yeh exactly, thats what ive done. popped some superglue on to the plastic mounting bit, its held really strong. Dunno whether it will stay like that but its worth a pop innit
