My 7.5 year old 182 cup

  RB182cup&golf gti
Thought I'd post some more up to date pics. Car now ten years old and on just over 21k miles. Currently debating on running it as my daily and actually using it!
Pics taken today after a quick clean. Paint is still like new. Still loving it ten years on.

I agree that the seats aren't the best, especially compared with the heated recaros in the fiesta st I had! Rest of the car is great though. Kind of wish I'd covered 120k miles @Iain C in mine instead of pampering it.
Half of me thinks keep it nice and take my little lad to car shows in it in a few years whereas the other half thinks just use it, after all it's a car not an ornament! Then a small part of me thinks sell it and move on lol. Belts are due again in April and it's only covered 6k miles since they were last done which seems crazy. Another birchdown day out coming up soon!

I'm sure alot of people enjoy their cars in other ways than driving tbh. I'm sure alot of people in the detailing section prefer cleaning than driving tbh! Definitely keep it though, could be worth alot in future!

Brilliant Ben, I thought I did well finding a ten year old car with 58k on it. You certainly won't be short of buyers if you ever did shift. Will be interesting to see if DTM £5500 super low mileage 172 cup sells. R- sport looks like he got messed about with his 27k for £4350 as its back up for sale.

I have to admit I didn't fancy a cup at first. But considering I am swapping my seats anyway, have had endless problems with the headlight washers(which are a bloody mot failure if not working). Run a PMS strut brace so the engine cover is fecked off and who really needs full air con. Actually I would have probably been better going for one ;).

Keep it up.
