Update !!!! Merry xmas everyone ! Got my new oreca steering wheel !

my new samco hose atached to my pipercross viper induction kit. i wanna do somthing with the inlet plenum and the engine cover, also in the new year il be purchasing the pms strut brace to match my solid top mounts . also in january i am sending my gaz coilovers to be refurbed as one of the shocks is bent slightly also they have become very bouncy /crashy and dont really perform how i want them too , then il be taking a trip to cardiff to get a full geo setup as i have camber bolts lying round doing nothing as we speak so guna bolt it all up around the same time as i get a geo . need to buy a boos for my new oreca steering wheel too so a few changes coming soon i cannot wait .

also whilst im on here thought id post a pic of my saxo before it was munched on a roundabout

Bit of an update sadly no pics .

My engine cover is being sprayed this week gloss black. At the end of the month il be changing the brakes all round , and sorting out my geometry and suspension also 4 new tyres so a busyonth ahead !

While engine cover is off you could do the inlet and fuel rail guard too? A nice little 2.0 16v sticker would finish off the cover. Would lok nice all painted next to the coloured Induction hose and viper kit Just a suggestion

Thats my plan mate im unsure what to do with the plenum maybe polish it up or just spray it a nice fresh silver.

It's hard as you got a mix of colours with your viper and samco bend. You can't go wrong with silver though as it looks fresh and will look good against the black engine cover

Im thinkin about spraying the red bits on the viper to match the rest .... Il have a look at threads on here to make

hey everyone bit of a boring update . gave my clio a good scrub today inside and out! hadnt been cleaned for 3 weeks and these mucky welsh roads dont help...

mean while ive been painting my dash strips gone for white but im not too sure if im honest , also guna be spraying the front diamond black to give it a meaner look up front,

once my pay day is here i shall be splashing the cash on some new goodies first on the list is a boss for my new steering wheel ,then im goin to prospeed cardiff to have a reccessed exhaust made up 3 inch slash cut i think then with a carbon surround then i think im just goin to maintain it for while new brakes oil change etc,

il be having my engine cover back from the body shop on sunday thats gone gloss black so i need to find the little 2.0 16v stickers does anyone know where i can get these from????

also goin to make a start on my audio ive replaced the front speakers but still there not very good so il replace the rears too and amp them up with new wiring through out

my coilovers are also annoying me they seem so crashy and harsh atm think i need a refurb on them but i cannot use the car then while there away ...

alos what do you guys think about removing the fog lights and having a caf trumpet there sprayed the colour of the car , i dont want it to be like these rubbish halfords boy racers one where they have the trumpets hanging out of the bumper by cable ties goin to a cheapo filter .... i want somthing that looks subtle but has a prupose if you undertstand .

tell me what you guys think i like other peoples opinions for some guidance cheers dan

can you not get a trumpet off ebay and place that in the foglight recess and connect some caf from the rear of the trumpet to the viper?

have a look here mate as they have trumpets and tubing in all colours and sizes.

A CAF from the bottom of the bumper isn't the wisest idea tbh. What happens when you go through a puddle?

yeah i was thinking that but i havent seen anywhere else to put the caf other than the lower grill, which looks rubbish. like will said, just take the fogs out, and put mesh behind it if you want to keep it looking finished

Ye i was goin to use some mesh too to act like a gauze, think il do this 2moro ive found a trumpet and some air feed tubing so may aswell give it a go . Waiting to pay for my polarised wheel bolts too in the group buy ....

Looks lovely m8, those white wheels do work really well. Wat are the 172's like as im saving to get my first clio, and the 172 seems to be the one i prefer looks wise. Wats the insurance like on these cars?

They are good cars dude in the past ive had saxos/106 and the clio is by far the better car comfort and performance the only problem i find with the 172 is parts are pretty exspensive also trying to tune them is alot
More exspensive than tuning 106 gti etc but overall the clio 172/182 are brill cars for the money there goin for at the moment, as for insurance im paying 1,400 in my mothers name fully comp

m8 that aint bad for consumption is that on motorways or just main roads,mine just constantly reads 34.8 and it has done since i got.like the white rims tho am toying with the idea of 2118s m8

Yea should be dude had one on my saxo passes everytime , the oreca is a good priced steering wheel

The wheels do set it off mate ! There goin anthracite soon . Yea i got a set of here they did 100 miles! Got them for a bargain ! Rolling on michelins now .
