My Campus 1.5 Dci

Hey guys,
here we have my 2007 clio campus 1.5 Dci,

• K&N 57i Induction Kit
• Sniper Performance Exhaust system (Centre pipe + Backbox)
• Ta Technix Coilovers (I know they're s**t haha)
• 37,000 on the clock

Getting these 15" alloys refurbished and getting some low pros - should make the body sit a bit lower.
What colour do you think i should get them? i was thinking white.

Get the back sitting lower, or raise the front, it looks far too nose down. Clios tend to sit slightly nose down but the rear is too high on that, good start though!

My rear is as low as my coilovers will let me!
Its currently sitting on TA Technix coilovers (Ebay item number - 400325942467)
and they're as far down as they go but the listing says 120mm :S

i've seen around that some people are getting custom rear springs made,
do you know where i could get some made or how much they would cost roughly?

other than that can you think of anyway i could go/look lower? i cant cut the springs because theyre pigtails and i dont want to remove the adjuster because ive heard storys of the pigtails falling out.

I think demon tweeks do mate... seen it somewhere ! i have the same problem as you'rs ! just not low enough!

well mines lower than that, try buy some vmaxx rears maybe? thats what im on

Don't do the wheels white! I think silver would best suit that colour but I know you won't listen to that :rasp:

bright silver for the wheels will look fresh, raise the front a tad and get a dynamique rear spoiler on it!

Completely forgot I started a project thread!
Might as well pick up where I left off..

The car now has 42k on the clock.

Firstly I scrapped them awful alloys, looking back I have no idea why I bought them.

I took everybodys advice and got myself a set of 16" clio sport alloys (Off of a 172 I believe), they have just been refurbished so are in mint condition

I then took the adjuster out from the rear so it sat lower, it looked a ton better. Here is the result and how it currently looks:

now i know a lot of you will hate the next part but bear with me.

i bought a bootbuild.. (Sorry for the s**tty iPhone picture)

before you crush your mouse in anger and flip the desk you're sitting at, the whole thing only cost me £50.
it is a custom made build for a mk2 clio and it fits literally perfect. it came with two 12" sony xplod subs which i know
arent great but for £50 i couldn't say no!


its covered in black suede and all i need to do is buy an amp.
(The hole in the middle will be covered up by the amp, its for the wires to run through.)


main reason for buying is all of my friends have just bought awful edge subs from halfords
and i love the sound in their car, so even if these sonys arent the best they will definitely do the job!

lets be honest here my car was never going to be performance orientated, i'm just going for looks and comfort really.

there is a massive amount planned so I will keep you all updated.

To do list / Plans:

• Put on ClioSport sticker and tax disc holder - Currently in the post!
• Buy an Amp and get subs wired up - I already know what amp I'm getting.
• Order Custom Rear Springs - I've been quoted £120 for a pair of 100mm springs
• Buy Dynamic Spoiler
• Buy SilverVisions
• Buy an RS grill
• Possibly colour match side strips + door handles + wing mirrors
• maybe buy a boot popper and smooth rear tailgate? - Thoughts?
• scrap the awful cannon sticking out the back
• get rear quater panel resprayed - needs doing desperately, you can kinda see it in the original pictures I posted. (quoted about £300)
• source a custom decat pipe and fit
• omp front and rear strut braces
• buy summer wheels - probably Dare RS or Lenso BSX in silver with some stretch

probably quite a few ideas I missed off but that'll do for now

what do you think?
