Always find it interesting seeing people's car journeys, so here's mine, from age 17-30 (no digital pics of 1st car).

I do love the theme. French, German, French German, French. I know exactly why too as I've done the same lol.

Quite like that 328, that must have been good at 22. Like cliotoby, only with a pair of testicles.

You've had FWD, RWD, 4WD but I don't see anything mid engined...

Think I was going through them roughly every 3 months at one point. Was doing mega miles, so buy, put 10k on it, sell resulted in minimal losses. The cars ive kept the longest (ShedTrophy, M3, R32) are the only ones ive really lost any money on thankfully.

I have, but the cost is daft, far better things out there for the money the 255's command imho.

Always financed, fiesta was bank of M&D, as was the Z3M. Then the 1st 182 was £14k from Tesco's over 5 years (never again, bundled in a load of student debt as well lol), then when I paid that off I got another one to buy the 1st Trophy (£7k I think), then asked for some more £££'s for the M3. Got a couple of grand left now I think - about the value of the Mini basically. Think ive been paying circa £250 a month for the past 8 years, which is fine.

Ha ha, my girlfriend thinks the same (8.5 years), was a time when she literally didn't know what id be driving from one month to the next lol. French for fun, German for sensible - seems to work ok! Mid-engine will happen at some point, not sure when though. House priority now.

I just had a list of realistic cars that I wanted to own by 30, have done them all now. Missed out on the e30 M3 at 22 though, bought the 328i Sport instead. Now they're too blooming expensive!!!

Well ive had it since I was 21, hasn't been on every car since then, but will have spent £1500+ easily.

I seem to be following that pattern at the moment too!

Yeah, the GP was very good, too expensive to have kept as a trackcar though, hence the blueshed.
M3 was Velvet Blue, now lives in Hong Kong
