My Cheap Clio Track Car

Some of you will recognise the user name from Vauxhall world pretty well known ran vauxhalls all my life and currently have a track nova saloon.

Thats in the process of a longggggggg rebuild so bought something that needed a tidy up and abusing so.....

Right here she is Ph1 with bits of a Ph2 from what i can work out she was MEGA cheap and nice and quick:

First off all just needed a tidy up and general look over.

First thing was brakes joined here as advised by a mate and got onto G 172

Ordered, Brembo front discs from him and managed to get hold of a set of M1144 Think there called pads also ordered mintex rear discs and pads:

Out with the old

In with the new:

Then it was missing spoiler (ebay sorted that)

From nothing

arrived

Fitted

Also bought this lot of ebay only wanted door bullets but came with the rest

Fitted new induction hose all tho think it needs to come off and original needs to go on as it has a ICV

Got a catch tank:

Brakes all fitted, alloys/calipers painted bled full system put racing fluid in, also got my track tyres put on.

Currently making a fibreglass bonnet

So still do.

Find and fit a passenger seat (anyone has one let me know)
fit harnesses
finish making my carbon fibre fog light surrounds, wing mirrors and roof scoop
finish my fibreglass bonnet
finish my carbon fibre strutbrace
relocate battery
change oil
make a fibreglass passenger headlight cover with cold air feed
make a cold air feed for the front brakes
few other little bits and bats

Ordered this just a standard passenger seat i needed one as this came with a drives seat and steering wheel and thats it

Also made these for myself

Got a few more little bits to fit etc hoping to get it out on track very soon

For the guys asking for mirrors making yes i can make people sets but they aint cheap haha...

Bonnet has been released from the mould needs painting... but with other projects and customer work i have going on dont have time.

Made myself a set of fog light surrounds

Did all fluids change, and few other little bits and bats:

Got my drivers seat in & my harness plates welded in:

Bought this of ebay:

Fitted my TRS Tow Strap

Fitted my sunstrip and logo's

Need to fit the rest of my bonnet pins, paint the 2 rear alloys do a final check then hopefulyyyyyyyyyyy if i can get recovery it will be at 3 sisters next saturday.

That's it, Joined here after buying a 172cup as the Nova was kind of expensive. Still got it though.

Im in exactly the same situation with my nova, i still cant see the end with it, so its in the garage under a cover till i find some love for it again this came up mega cheap and i had to have it
