Well thought i'd post some pics of the my lil 1.2.. its not a bad little car once i cleanned it all up & bought some parts for it off ebay, let me know what you lot think

when i first bought it

Then after lots of TLC using some decent cleanning products & lots of back to black on top of hunting round ebay for ph2 parts i've managed to sort my self a clean little motor up until i get a decent amount of ncb to get a 172 .. its took about 3 months to get it to this staged & the last mod will be a dynamique spoiler

Yea, lowered 35mm, ph2 15inch alloys, ph2 lights with chrome bulbs.. just wanted a nice clean looking car, big body kits & back box's don't float my boat on a 1.2.. all show no go so i opted for making it look smart

Question though; what size tyres did you go for with the 15s? From what i've been able to find out, standard authentique size is very different to my steel 165 / 70 R13
Also, what sort of price you get the wheels and tyres for?

Thanks .. i'm happy with it although still needs a dynamique spoiler .. i got a great deal on the wheels - found a guy on ebay but he had no pic so guess there was a lack of intrest, i payed £200 & they came with over 6mm tread on all 4 & there conti tyres, v happy with em & to top it off he told me to pick them up from where he worked.. which was kwik fit only half hour from my house so had 4 wheels with v minor kurbing on the fronts with 6mm contis fitted to my motor for £200 - bargain! there the 15's, best up grade by far - makes the handling so much better, u can actually trust the car to take sharp corners unlike the steelys lol

providing i can get the right colour from halfords i'm gonna have a go at spraying the side strips & if that works i plan to do the bumpers as the backs got a few nicks n scratches... female parking + car wash's .. i gotta say its not a bad little car, fair enough its no 172 but if its only my self in the car on twisty roads i have a good time :approve: ... its only when u hit dual carridge ways & motorways u relise that an extra 8 valves + 600cc could come in handy... just aswell my journey to work is all round town

They are Ph3 wheels not Ph2 lol

looks really nice mate, should have went for 195/50 tyres tho on them, and went atleast -60mm but it looks just nice.

my mates got a dynamique spoiler if your interested, think hes wanting arround £40 for it but open to offers

Thought they were ph2 though coz it was a 2003 clio they came off ... yea i would have gone much lower for the looks but i still wanted a nice smooth ride as staines has not got the best of roads lol so 35mm got rid of the 4*4 gap between the tyres n arches

hopefully picking up a spoiler for £20 saturday .. although summit about the bloke seems a bit dogey so not putting my hopes up lol
