My Clio Is ALIVE

At last, my clio started firing on all 4 cylinders and didnt sound like a big diesel anymore.

The new head is finally on and the car works a treat.
Damn you tapets. :boring:

Here is a little thank you list:
My Dad - Going to the scrappies and picking up bits to try and test incase they were faulty.
Reco - The main man for helping me along the way.
Uk Recon - For skimming the head.
Andrew Watts - For all the parts when we couldnt get them. Headbolts etc.
Maccess - For everything for cars, trade discounts FTW. Tools & Gaskets.
BDRS - For the parts for my dad to use.

Thanks to all them people for helping me in trying to get my car on the road again.

Now all i have to do is fix the handbrake.

Ill actually get to meet up with you now, haha. The micra was just pish, but it did the job. Im hoping for no problems too.

Maccess, its great, especially when you have a trade card. Yaas.

Indeed. I'd come and check out your handywork if it wasn't pishing with rain just now!

Micra = gets you from A to B, but that really is it. I've driven one before and it really was shocking.
Worst car i've ever driven was a 1L Daewoo Matiz which Arnold Clark gave me as a hire car. Joke. Actually the most unsafe feeling car i have ever been in.
You'll be glad to be back in the clio. Make you appreciate it a bit more.

We dont seem to use it as often as we used to, still get my AG stuff from there but got an account with a decent motor factor that I reckon is better than maccess
