My Clio!

Hi i'm Jason, 18 and own a Clio 1.2 16v. I'm new to the forums so i thought i'd introduce me and my Clio Owned it a year now and done a few things to it. Looking for new ideas and comments on it all. Heres a few pics:

Thats my car as it is now :approve: getting some v-maxx coilovers on it soon and then i dont have anymore plans for it......yet!

Definitely needs lowering mate. And as above, colour coding improves things massively

Looks a good start mate! Defo get it colour coded! And get them lights off!! There is a really good pair of smoked light on k-tec.com really nice not too dark! £80 quid and well worth it!! Hope u keep it updated!!

Absolutely slam it - I had vmaxx's on my old 1.2, made it look amazing

I personally wouldnt colour code the side strips and bumper strips though :S

I wouldnt color code as the black bumpers go with the wheels, diamond etc. Just lower and will look much better.

I got the colour coding done at aire valley auto paint. Only paid £120 so it was alright! They didn't sand them down first so they are still textured, if I was you i would take them off and sand them down yourself to get the perfect match. Ha, cheers man. If you're looking at coilovers I have FK highsports and they are spot on!!

Quick update, got these yesterday fitting them wednesday night and i'll get plenty of pics!

Also, i'm looking into some new alloys. Seen some nice team dynamic 1.2s as suggested or some renault turbines :rasp:

Any thoughts?

Well, I got the coilovers on last night, after 3hours! Got no pics at the moment as shes in the garage getting the tracking sorted and the cambers set up properly :L

Will get pics up at the weekend after a good clean if the snow holds off! And some pics will come up later when i've picked up my wheels

It was a Longlife custom made stainless cat back exhaust system.

Theres quite a few dealers across the country iirc.

Just come home with these:

A nice smooth down with wet and dry and then they'll be ready to be taken off to be painted after christmas
Thinking of gun metal grey.....hmmmm

Very happy with these though Just need advice on tyres now :star:

hmmmm not sure what colour to get these done in now, was thinking of steel grey? Or would something like white or a lighter grey look better? Any opinions?

if they are 15s get 165/50/15 nice bit of stretch which will help loads when going lower and lower and lower lol

Gave it a good clean today so here are the pics with the coilovers on
Getting the new wheels sprayed up this week and will shortly be put on along with an rs grill, silvervisions and new number plates
