Going to miss this thing

When scrolling down eBay and finding the advert, the thumbnail is absolutely awful quality! But when you click into it, it's really good... anyone know why? Kind of annoying as gives a bad first impression. Going to contact eBay support on Twitter tomorrow anyway.
