my dynamic, what to do next???

heres my dynamic. it has 17" kei force 10's, lowered 35mm, induction kit and now has a private plate. it is booked in for colour coding next week aswell. anyways iam 18 and i have about £400 to spend only on my car each month, i am not sure what else i should do to it so i was hoping you ppl could help me. maybe lowered 60mm? exhaust?

i'd lose the induction kit for a start and get an ITG Panel filter instead as it will be better for performance. You could also upgrade the brakes to some Brembo High Carbon or Max Groove discs with some decent pads - i doubt you'll be doing trackdays in it so EBC Greenstuff or Redstuff pads will be fine.

Also id spend money upgrading the brakes !!!! i got a set of k-tec drilled disc's and pads for £136 i think !!!!!! money whell spent !!! going to get the bigger one's next time tho !!!

thanks for your respones. would the 172 skirts fit straight onto my car or are the 172 wings different? i have drums on the back so would fitting discs on the back be hard lol? i would have to take it to a garage as iam not to good with brakes lol. i would love a 172 but i want to build my no claims up a bit before so i will be looking at getting one next january.

don't bother fitting disc brakes on the back - it's not worth the time / money / hassle! even on the RS models about 80% of the braking is done by the front ones so you're not going to notice a difference.

that's exactly my point - it's a 1.2 which has a stock 75bhp engine! why would you want to lower that power by fitting an induction kit?? what's the point. the standard airbox & filter will be better than this and an ITG Panel filter is only about £40-£45 so it's cheap as chips really and every little helps doesn't it?

i just noticed - in your opening post you said you had £400 EACH month to spend on your car? forget modding your 1.2, sell it and put that money towards a 172. get a loan for a couple of grand to finance it and your 400 sheets will easily cover the cost of the loan repayment and the insurance.

so front brakes.. 172 sideskirts (do they fit dynamic wings?) and a 172 rear bumper? i have no claims though, 172 insurance would rape me would'nt it? can u get rs grills from any renault dealer? i live on the isle of wight so posting can get expensive if i buy something from off here lol plus i think i am the only person on the forum from the isle of wight lol

Love the wheels mate, there is another Cyclone Blue Dynamique on here also with those KEI racing wheels. I would just get it colour coded and leave it at that.
The grill on JLO's is an MS Designs item, very rare and expensive, I think they are around the £180 mark now, RS grill from Renault is £42ish.
I would keep the induction kit, they make a nice noise, good cold air feed to it and it will be fine, your not going to notice heat soak too much on a 1.2.

don't bother lowering it 60mm 30 mm is fine i had my 1.2 lowered 60 mm not worth it bounce all over the place and plus you will need work in the arches done
