My first french car - Clio 172 Cup

  Mini JCW
Owned a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra for the last couple of years, but decided on a change of car, and it seems to have been a good decision, love the 'snappy' handling - a real joy to drive:approve:

Its a 2003 cup with 28k on the clock, only collected it today so a few quick pictures at the moment : -

Thanks for all the comments, I was after a sub 40k example, so when this was advertised I had to go and take a look:approve:

Needs the cambelt replaced asap though, also got a few scratches on the boot (where i think the renaultsport badge was removed) and one or two on the roof which will be sorted asap.

Regarding the Silvertech bulbs, I will be picking some up in the near future.

Many thanks

Anthony

what's is it like to drive compared to the cupra?

So much better! The handling on the cupra was dire, you turned the wheel and there was a small delay until it actually reacted, a very detached driving experience. With this however, the handling is crisp and responsive, very happy with it so far:approve:

I love that color!!!!
Here in Chile it's really really hard to see that color, the most common color it's iceberg grey.
Cheers

Thought I'd add some new pictures after its clean yesterday :)

Comprised of :

Prewash - Megs Shampoo Plus with a cheapy Super Spray attachment
Wheels - Bilberry Wheel Cleaner 4:1
Wash - 2 BM with Sonus Mitt / Megs Shampoo Plus
Pressure washed clean
Clay - Sonus Green Clay bar with some Shampoo Plus used
Cleaner / Sealant - Carlack 68 Nanocare SC
Wax - Collonite 476s

I need to clean and seal the wheels properly (got some Poorboys Wheel Sealent for this).

Also I didn't have any trim renovator or tyre treatment when the pictures were taken, this has now been purchased and applied

Also I'm considering adding coilover suspension in the near future :) :-
