My handbrake is buggered

Tried adjusting it but I seem to have made it worse. Is it possible that Ive stretched the cable? At the moment I have to heave on the thing to stop the car rolling off down the hill. Anyone got any advice?

I would just take it to the garage and get them to tighten it! If that all the problem is. (stretched the cable)

No I think Id prefer to do it myself. Dont trust garages.

mine doesnt work either.

on a steep hill it wont hold even if i do put it on hard
