my little clio

here we have my 26k, one lady owner, clio rt 1.2 8v. what it started out as...

this is what it looks like now with the addition of 15" wolfrace katanas on...

still riding high at the moment, but ive only just got it off my mum so is off the road until i turn 17 in a few months...

few bits ive to go on,
renault sport side skirts,
60mm lowering springs,
carbon induction kit,
kenwood headunit,
jbl 1000 watt sub & amp,
kenwood 6x9's,
jbl components,
flip paint engine cover, (even thought it will barely be noticable by the size of it!)
custom fibregalss mirror back tweeter pods.

mods next on the list are,
lower-profile tyres,
clio 172 headlights and spots,
clio 172/182 spolier,
window tints,
and MAYBE spray tint the back lights... and thats about it really!

please let me know your opinions

yer they make a hell of a difference! to look at and to the ride and andleing too!

not much more to insure really because bits n bobs are off other clios and i can list some things as renault factory equipment, which is good! should be payin about 1900 i think it is, but less if i do my pass plus... thanks for the replys!

has anyone, fitted an air filter to this kind of engine before by anychance? im going to put it on this weekend and just want to know what the job involves, as there is no fitting kit with it, i dont really know what to do well, i know what to do but u just put the filter on the air intake pipe and take the original filter off? is this right? any help will be greatly appreciated and pics would also help also where would the best place be to run my power cable for my amp, i know this probably has been asked tonnes of times before, but i need help lol

good car for a 17 yr old nice 1 mate , my insurance is ridiculous as well , then they wonder why theres people going around with none ,but then that causes it to go up even more , insurance companys they need to get it sorted (rant over )

hi mate car looks nice /im new to this and can any1 help as i av got 1.2 clio for my son just 17 and passed test so bought him car w reg clio 1.2 added few mods induction kit /alloys exhaust back lights but it as single lens lights and want to change to projector angel eyesin black dus any1 know if any more wiring to be done and what

be it air filter or induction kit.... these are easy as pie (well 99% of them are) to fit. Should be a couple of bolts and just a simple replacement. You may also need a couple of cable ties. Hope it goes well fella keep it simple, subtle and not OTT or chavved up.

For the induction kit sound just take the airbox and airfilter off sounds miles better than any induction kit. Thrashed mine for a year like that and it didn't blow up lol

looks tidy mate! i'd get the full kit opposed to springs, they'll fook you shocks otherwise. get colourcoding on the list and your done

clowo16v - you may wanna fook your car, but i'm sure he doesnt lol. leave the air filter on, and uprate it if you want extra noise like you've stated in your list
