My MK1, just took a couple of pics...

Hello,

Finally it was sunny, so i had a quick clean and took a few pictures.

Some of the mods:

285mm discs, Williams calipers, Goodridge braided lines, K-tec camber bolts, pagid pads, Proxes t1-r's spax springs and adjustable absorbers front and rear.

I've just fitted a 16V dash top and built a pod for my rev guage to fit in, Rsi interior, momo boss Mountney wheel, leather gear gaitor and door cards:

Before anyone says it... Yes, it is 'only a 1.2' but i'm 17, work part time and pay for everything myself. So getting anything quicker at the moment is out of the question.

Good man. I'm 19, at Uni and paying for the car (and Uni) myself and I seem to be the only person I know whose parents aren't covering it all!:)

Yeah, most people i know have it all covered by their parents.

ive afforded all 3 cars myself...aswell as paying for uni myself... ;)


Wheels look good.

But the steering wheel looks like one off a lorry!
i love the steering wheel...looks oldskool :)

Yeah - it makes a change to hear of people doing that. I've paid for everything on mine over the past two years, even when the cambelt went on my MKI. Mum and Dad paid up front and I spent six months paying them back. Then sold the car:D

I paid my own way with my car, and always will. So nothing will change. Its not owned by anyone else so i can do as i wish. Im 19 also, with my own policy and my dad on my policy as a named driver. Expensive yes, but worth it in the long run, YES.

Nice mark 1, very good condition, shame the gauges wont work until you wire them up.

I'm not using the 16V oil guages, i have made a pod to fit my rev guage in as you can see in the picture :)

looks like the moutny(sp) wheel iv got somewere, the stitching on the back slices your fingers right up
