only jk.. don't think I could justify 2x insurance on 172s if I didn't get huge fun from the both of them both daily and weekend

not yet tried a track day -VERYTEMPTED- ..sseems expensive tho. especially once it's over. lol brakes packing up etc

nice bargain james - very nice indeed. you paid less for that than I did a 10 year old escort gti a year ago and mine had 70k miles on it with only 3 months MOT so money well spent

Quick update, been really busy this week & this afternoon was the first time i had some time to work on the PH1.. So firsly, thanks to my good friend Ivan for the Alloys & lights, she now looks much better

The alloys are growing on me but f**k me they are so horrible to clean, gaps every where & i thought the turini's were bad!

Also, I've just started to colour code the bump strips in the shed, hopefully get them on by the end of the weekend

Going to the scrappy tomorrow for more parts & think i may pick up a cupra spiltter on the way home, needs one baaaaad!

Tempted with lowering springs, around 40mm but i'm going to france for christams - 4 up with luggage & dont want it on the floor for the journey.. :dapprove: ... what do you guys think of apex springs? not fussed to much about handling as i have my track 172 for that :evil:

Apex are hard as f**k, but what do you expect when you lower a car.
