My new carbon bonnet teaser

Only just fitted it... in the dark lol.

Haven't cleaned it yet... but took some photos under petrol station forecourt.

Wasn't til i got back home that i realised i had my phone settings as low as they go. Sorry. Will get some full size daytime pics up this morning.

Whats the best thing to polish up carbon fibre then? I've got loads of fingerprints that don't wanna come off!

They look awesome painted. If its a good job you can see the weave under the paint.

thanks for the comments guys. Carbon isn't for everyone... and to be honest, i wasn't really keen. but a magpie smashed my bonnet and thought it'd be cheaper and easier to replace with a carbon one.

The only thing i will say, is that it looks so much better in the flesh than it those crappy pictures.

not a great deal lighter to be honest... i was very surprised as to how light the OEM bonnet was actually.

might get it painted as my front bumper and door strips need doing anyway.

gonna clay bar whole car this weekend. the bird s**t left a mark on the bonnet.

gonna just buy some new wheels. tried to get them refurbed... but they really are buggered. will get some anthracite turinis.

it really needs claying as there are loads of marks on it that i can't get off (mainly fingerprints).
i still haven't took any half decent pics really. will wait til i've cleaned It.
