hello there, iv just bought a 53 reg 182, its got an induction kit fitted and the garage said its been "chipped", well the previous owner told them it has, when i asked is there any paper work to back this up the guy in the garage said no but he knew the previous owner and believed he had no reason to lie, im not to fussed if it hasnt been chipped but is there any easy way to find out? cheers.

i think he means remapped, he said its runnin bout 192ish? it could be a load of bull but obv it would be nice for it to be true

Only one way to really find out, a live rolling road would suffice

do you get the big kick at 5k? if its been doine with an rs tuner youl loose this and have a more even power curve.
