My new Magnex!

Thanks to all who gave me advice on this topic. Eventually I did go for the Magnex Twin 3.5".

When I picked it up, it seemed VERY quiet and I must say I was a little disappointed, but now I have driven around a bit, I must say the disappointment has turned into sheer joy.

It sounds superb!

Exhaust isnt super loud like dogmauls Supersprint (which sounds ace by the way) - its a gentle rumble on idle, and it really does sound like a lions roar when you accelerate through the top end.

Quiet burble, then roars into life at the higher end.

Oh yes... and the twin 3.5" tailpipes suit the car down to the ground. Will post pics... but in the mean time... Telford Mike, and Lee M also have this exhaust, and Mikes is also a red 172, I believe

it looks bloody huge....as long as you can fit the exhaust coser to the bumper then this is the exhaust for me

You can fit it as close to the bumper as you want. Why not cut a hole in the bumper? Be original!

fitted mine today,managed to line it up with the bumper ok.

fits ok.both the ascar and the magnex fit ok(ascar slighty better) and cant say ive noticed a performance difference between the two.main difference is the magnex is queit and the ascar is loud.
