I do love my old fords but not orions, a dude a few roads from me has a mint one with an rs turbo engine in but he also has a mk1 mexico so kinda makes up for it lol. Ive actually been looking for a series 2 rs or a mk3 xr3/rs16i as a project. To many rotters out there now.

Right, just done a deal on a much nicer one.

So now I have to do another 400 miles to collect the one in Yorkshire & bring it back to Bristol, then get myself to Clacton on Sea (Where??) and collect this other, much more genuine rust free one, then sell the heap and hope I don't lose too much money.

My Mum had two ghias as company cars back in the day, a 1.4 older shape on a C and a red one just like you'd bought on an 89 G. Love looking back at pics of them.

This is a peach! I've just got home after stopping at work to wash it off as its spent its life under a tree it seems!

Arches are solid and original, doors are completely rot free and every single electric item works.

I hear what everyone is saying about it being crap, but its proper nostalgic for me. (If that's the right word)

My Dad had one, 2 of his mates had them and I've had 4 back in the day. I still remember our first family holiday down to weymouth in my dads white 1600i. (C45 AMS) He paid £3750 for that fcuker! lol.

Anyway, here's the 'good' one....

And on the way home I stopped at Ford...

iirc, they were 105ps when they were new. It goes bloody well mind! Sat at 80 on the way home from work no bother, and they sound brilliant!
