those are JCW R105's you can also get them with a polished face with the rear bits all painted gloss black. Looks even better.

Only thing with these 18's is that they are a 52mm offset so if you ever decide to go for a bbk you will need to run 15-20mm spacers to clear them.

Then you will probably have the wheels sticking out of the arch and it will look pants. Tyres are also £160+ each for 205/40/18 which is the ideal size for the mini.

The GP 18's are probably the only ones worth going for as they are lighter (about 9.0kg each) opposed to these which are over 11kg each not including tyre.

I used to have R95 18" JCW alloys and the handling was not as good as with the 17's although it did look mental with the extra inch.

nah he's just had them refurbed black so he can sell them they used to have a polished face but the lacquer had split and cracked so looked crap

this is the only pic ive got before they were done but he's now got some BBk 299's on which im trying to convince him to take off and sell and keep the 105's but like jay said he will need spacers to clear his Big brake kit!

  Gentlemans spec 200
I think one of these could be the car to get me out of the Clio's tbh. Have to be red/black for me though, I nearly bought one a few years ago. Red, black roof, black wheels. Looked the nuts, was all ready to go. Then the HPi threw up outstanding finance.

Yep after the R27, whatever i was going to get next was going to have to be something a bit special...the 200 is w@nk IMO...overpriced and will drop like a stone.

IF i'd wanted an out and out weapon i would've bought the GP works i drove before i drove this.

They are a great second hand buy now, i probably won't loose too much on it in the next few years.

Was interesting to see the amount of modding that goes on in MINIs, Sunday's MINI run was certainly an eye opener for me (pics on NMS Alan).

My alternative cycle route home from work takes me right past a MINI GP, always parked up, rarely see it being driven. Lovely.

Not a fan of the GP. Too stiff IMO, and stupid spec wise. Why junk the rear seats etc, then stick in average Recaro's? Buckets or GTFO.
Looks like it was designed by the same r****d that Renault got to do the 200.

Aye right you need more than a drop of spinach to move them

I looked into one but i couldnt get comfy in one a couple of years older and i should start shrinking

Nice feel to them everything was really solid but then again anything is compared to the clio

Nice to see you have found love will we see you on a Ch4 documentary soon ? Men who love their cars lol

Not sure on the turinis. I think the mini needs chunkier alloys like the cooper S ones or bbs.

If it was lowered on the turini's it would look nice but ATM they dont look right

  Turbos.
Fubar, you can get OEM ones that drill into the roof. You can get aftermarket ones but i believe this involves having straps coming through the windows. Im not sure any can be clipped on...

And yes, reckon mine has to be the best in the country. Spent about £2k in a few months and am only asking what i paid for...some cheap runaround that was LOL.

  Facelift R53 Cooper S
Yours is a a facelift 2006 one though so that's fair enough.

That other one is an 03 pre-facelift with alot mote mileage.

If I was to sell my 54 plate it wouldn't be for much more than that 03 plate, and mines facelifted.
