quite high then does that design of box effect the linerarity of the speaker at all?

thats the monoblock IV is it not 1400wrms at 1ohm and 850 at 2ohm should kick mega hard:cool:

its designed for DbDrag so the shelf will be out and seats forward for maxium bass,

yeah it is the vibe monoblock IV 2800 watts :)
when its playing full bass you have to wear ear protectors

do you rate the vibe space subs?

im after a 15 inch one to go into my sparewheel well, only problem is finding a amp to run it that dont cost ££££££££££££££££££££

Looks good mate! Decent sized wire is always best.

Im powering 3 amps and a split charging system so my wires are huuuuge.

I like the angle of the box, will look quality when its finished :D

lmao i just noticed in one of your pics your using the sub as a tool rest:eek:

also who says you have to wear ear protectors:evil:

as you made your own box, wanted to ask a question, as i was goign to make my own, cna i mount the amp inside the sub box ? that way it will get cool air from the sub moving the air around, and i wont' have to have my amp rollign around in the boot cso i am too lazy to screw it down

I wouldn't have thought that would be very wise - voicecoils generate heat from the movement of the cone, plus all the vibration would be bad for the amp internals I would have thought! :S

I like your ingenius thinking though :P lol

You can just mount the amp to the box if you want - they're usually fine on there!

yeah, i wanted it hidden, and out the way, and having it inside the box means you could just have some connections to the box, so when you take your car to garage or want to use the boot, you can just take the one thing out, and make life easy,as i often take mine out to fill my boot with cr@p to take to the dump

now it depends, its a very bassy sub i wouldnt recomend it for Sound quality as i actuallu have mine turned to minus 6 when playing music, waste of money if thats all you want it for, for bass yes i think its good, mines running off a 2800 watt amp which cost best part of £600 not heard it with anything lesser so i wouldnt no
