My new Zorstec exhaust system

As any of you guys who remember me from the west yorkshire meet last sunday i said i had my 182 booked in today for a new custom system building and here is the results.......looks just how i wanted and sounds deep and rumbling just how i wanted.....one problem though, it's way too loud.....lol, so the guy said he'll fit me a centre section silencer if i wanted......really impressed with the results though, see what you think, not sure about the writing yet though, i can't decide about that, they put it on there.

How does it sound then? Loud? And did it set you back a kidney or 2???

Should get a little quieter when the baffles set in. Looks like a good job, could have maybe done with having a slightly larger tailpipe imo to fit the bumper cutouts a bit more.

put it this way......my family won't let me park it in the garage at the moment , i'll try and get a video over the weekend then another after the sliencer has been done, it might take a week or so to get it booked back in, sounds awesome though, if it was 25% quieter i'd be happy

i asked him not to roll them , wanted the slash cut thin pipe look similar to the HKS systems you see on modded skyline's and supra's, just not a big fan of rolled or fluted ends.

i'm swaying that way with the sticker too
About £50 more than an off the shelf cat back system but with this i got to specify the deep rumbling sound i wanted so i though the extra was worth it

the cans look too jap to me, but if you like them thats all that matters, love the slash cut much nicer than rolled

I definately wanted to go with the slash cut too, looks so much better cut to the same angle as the bumper, i'm guessing without a centre silencer yours sounds as loud as mine

Agreed...when I seen the finished product I was well impressed...suites the bumper to a T!

Yeh man, mines is custom from Meecat Exhausts down my way...its loud (and i do a lot of motorway miles :dead worth it tho!!!

and try to adjust better ur exaust exit i think they should be lifted a litel bit.a part of that very good!

Lol....that's exactly how mine sounds too, i love the deep tones these systems give as opposed to the high pitched rasping noise of some systems.

and try to adjust better ur exaust exit i think they should be lifted a litel bit.a part of that very good!

i think the sticker has to go too, i'll wait till i have had the silencer fitted then i'll be removing it i think, the guy said the system might need some adjustment after it has had time to bed in so i'll have it straightened up a little then

No, they get louder as they settle in.

Remove the sticker IMO.

I like the slash cuts more than any other these days, think they go well with the surround into the bumper.

They are really nice people there, i would recomend them to anyone, by ginge do you mean Andy the owner?, he is a nice guy and the lady chris is really nice too, when i was there it was near closing time and there were two lads who worked there who i had a chat with, one of them said he might be able to get hold of a set of RS recaro's from a trophy if i wanted them but when he rang the guy who had them he said he had already got £670 for the pair on Ebay......

Lol, no one mentions the tyre's, some muppet who had the car before me had one tyre changed instead of the pair and i'm a little reluctant to get rid as they still have loads of life in them yet, might put them on the front so no one will see them

if we have another meet before September 11th then you'll get to hear it in all it's full on motorsport glory......lol, it's really loud, so much so i haven't had the stereo on since yesterday........i went to see the guy today and he suspected i might be back as it was really loud, he said he would fit me a centre box for half price so i can't complain and i'm having a sports cat put on at the same time too, oh and by the way everyone THE STICKER HAS GONE!!!!.......lol

2.5 inch system with 3.5 inch pipes with a rolled lip.

I got the sticker as well but removed it immediately!

I wasn't sure about having three and a half inch pipes because i wasn't sure how they would have looked but i think they suited your old 182 really well, the 197 sounds nice and beefy too
