so after organising a meet/run out

..The road disapeared from underneath me going at some pace
..got plenty of air and the car bottomed out big style into the road.. thought oh s**t, got away with that one! then 2min later Russ in the F1 flashed me over from behind saying he saw a poof of black smoke (oil dripped onto manifold) , so we pulled over asap and turned off the engines. just in time! as if i went any longer i would of been in s**t city! big time! ended up i had cracked my sump on landing. as soon as engine stopped running the oil filtered down from the top of the engine and out of the engine in no time at all! resulting in the above pic! this happend just before we got to hawes! was gutted to say the least! anyhoo BIG thanks to Russ n his misses who got me RAC recovered to Hutchies Garage, another HUGE thanks to hutchie for putting up with me for landing my baby on him on a sunday aff!
So next day hutchie got to work on the car for me in his Renault Specialist garage, wanted the job doing properly at no expense spared! so a new sump and gaskets ordered from renault. landed day after tuesday and fitted and a good check over to make sure nothing else had been damaged on the landing. luckly nothing else was broke!! i think i am very lucky to have not cracked the front bumper!!, all which was Brilliant news! so as the car was in i got a 12k service done, new plugs etc etc a good check over, cat was blowing so got that welded up and got the car MOT'd (was due and passed no prob!) straight after to make sure the car was in tip top condition again and running sweet! also got a new Renault Cup splitter from hutchie aswell!
anyhoo so car was done and back to normal by tue night/wed. ready for me to pick up the following friday.

Car is now running sweet if not better than before with its new gear on it. such a relief to have her back and kicking better than before! even if i am £700 lighter! he did me a great deal considering the work involved, so cant complain what so ever! MASSIVE thanks to hutchie for fitting me in next day, infront of his other customers (month waiting list!!) so really do ow him big style! milky bars are on me
haha! he did a top job and as always i cant recomend him enough for any work to be done! he will always be sorting my motors out thats for sure!
