my oil gauge is weird

keep noticing that when i turn ignition key and oil level needle goes up it keeps showing diff levels. i know that my oil is topped up tho? any help pls?

Depends where it settles in the engine, as long as its ok after it been runs for a few minutes and the dipstick level is fine then nothing to worry about.

its the one on the aux dials so once the engine starts it drops to the bottom of the gauge as it shld do. it only reads the level when the engine is off if that makes sense. thats wot i read anyways. cheers tho ya prob rite
