My Phase 1 172 :)

Hi,

First of all I used to have a Ford Escort 1.6 Finesse which was made into a Tastefully Modified GTi Replica. So as you may agree this is quite a step up at 19 years old.

I had been looking for a nice 172 for a while when I came across this for less than £2000. So I bought it and now have my personalised plate on. Needless to say Insurance is sky high, but hopefully won't be too long before I get a years no claims and get on my way to cheaper insurance.

The final picture being of my 172 and my mates Saxo VTS. Which is the better car you decide haha

Ive had mine insured with elephant at 19 and they seem the cheapest around

nice car, Ive had 106 gti, saxo vts, rallye etc and the 172 is definately the better car, although not as fun as the others

nice car mate, im 19 an dpay the same insurance as you. spent about 1500 quid on ph2 o3 plate 172....wish i bough a ph1 cos the amount iv spent on mine, it would of looked stunning.
