Posted a thread a while ago when I got the car, but thought id create a new one to post regular updates on what iv been doing.
I have always liked these cars and nearly bought one a few years ago, but bought a corsa vxr instead (mistake). I saw this car for sale in Portsmouth, travelled all the way from Yorkshire to look at it. The condition was fantastic, with only 34k miles and full Renault service history I just had to get her.
I'm looking at improving a few smaller things to start with and then will look at bigger modifications

First thing I had to sort out was the thumb grips on the steering wheel as they ruined the look and feel of the steering wheel! Got these online for £15 and fit really well

As you can see I have some nice xenon bulbs in but this makes the sidelights look really yellow also the stripes are peeling really badly so ordered some more along with some sidelights which arrived today! Still insure wether to get the stripes re done or get them removed completely :/....

Just one word of warning when removing stripes - if they have been there a long time you may be left with faded marks.

Thanks! Yeah I have been told that... might just get them put back on! Depending on what the paint looks like the underneath

Progress is a bit slow at the moment but finally managed to get my stripes re done. Has made a huge difference to the appearance of the car! Whilst I was there I got a quote on getting the grill sprayed in satin black.. but exhaust next I think. Need more noise

Didn't do mine myself... thought about it but not worth the risk!

Progress has been very slow recently, haven't had enough time or money.... but things are looking up and have made a few small changes to the clio I ordered a new numberplate light from eBay, looks much tidier and some new dust caps. Only small changes with bigger things to come soon!

gave her a good clean this evening as the weather was nice for once!

Next on the list is the get the seatbelts sorted as they look disgusting!
Also quite tempted by the ktr induction kit
