Mk5 Golf GTI :)
Only had it a week but love it. Been on the hunst for a bit, decision made more difficult as i love my current car. Wanted to get back into trackdays so waht else, a clio. Needed to be something thats nearly track ready so a standard one was out the question really. Saw this, spoke to the chap and a deal was done. He lived in Somerset, i live by Liverpool so trust was earnt and i got the car delivered.
Spec of the car. Will update when i know more, that and i'm knakered.
105,000 miles with lots of bills, mot's etc
Cambelt, dephaser etc done by 519 back in 2012 at 97k ish, receipt to prove
Obviously stripped with roll cage, seats, aircon delete, seperate switches for the luxury items. Interior fan, it's the white funnel in one of the pics. Hazard light switch, and two others which i will work out what they are in due course.
K-tec exhaust, standard airbox but have a spare v6 that i 'may' fit.
Solid engine mount and other bits.
Bilstein B14 coilovers (12 months old), need to check the springs
Car drives well and seems to handle superbly although the tracking does need to be set up properly.
Future plans. Raise the front slightly, better discs/pads/tyres and trackday the thing until it gives up.
Seem to get carried away with pics, but meh
