My trip to the prodrive factory :)

Apparently I was super lucky seeing all 3 Aston Martin 24 hour race cars in one place, they where literally just putting them on the back of the lorrys for testing at the nurgburgring, what a tough life.

^^^ prodrives first ever WRC car was set next to this being restored, 001, but no pics.

^^ the last WRC car Prodrive will ever make!! Looked like proper sex wee.

But my fav car in the entire place was this!

I was abit confused when she said that, but remember Subaru pulled out, that car was due to be the subaru WRC car.

Note the Skoda logo on the Lola Aston Martin Cars

Apparently the cars are largely financed by Antonin Charouz. He is Czech, so that might explain the word "Skoda"....

i wouldn't want to work for them, a lot of my mates do/did

a mate of mine was their no 1 chassis development test driver (he did the suspension for all the limited edition sccobs, the aston stuff, the brerra, the rx8 etc etc, basically any prodrive road car/performance pack they've done he developed the chassis, and yes DanR he says AST's suck balls too ) and a few of the lads are machinists and bodyshell fabbies/general fabbies, over time is demanded, if you don't do it, bye bye

Arn't Prodrive still actually in the WRC!? Scooby pulled out, but i'm positive they have there own scoob running... Marcus drives for them, no!?

Anyways, that does look like a fantastic trip, great pics too. I would have fapped all over each of them Aston's in turn Where is the factory, is it open to all, or by invitation?!

main factory is next to the M40 at banbury (you can see it from the motorway, on your right as you go southbound)

the test site is in warwick (well its nearer solihull) just off junction 5 M42
