It went back in for the starting prob last time they put a new tdc sensor in 3 days later same prob . Must admit i feel sorry for the chap doing it as it starts some days and not others and you can guarantee it will start tomorrow morning .

Do you mean starting from cold ? cos mine doesn't always start first time every morning.

When i droped it of they said they have not heard of another one doing the same nor have renault uk ?

I find it hard to get my head around how they cannot start first time every time tbh..

My valver always starts and never misses a beat.. even on cold mornings.. I always make sure I leave them to warm up as I know the clios idle quite rough from cold..

Usually when a dealer says this they mean it is a common problem . They said they had never seen an ECU bracket break before when mine broke but other dealers had replaced a few :S
