my van brakes

guys my vans brake discs have went u can here grinding but the van is getting swapped at mercedes on monday so dont want to fork out money for discs just for 1 week, how long do discs last grinding will the van collapse?

mate i had a rear wheel bearing go on my van!

was making noise for weeks!

then oneday it got worse!

the wheel came off!! !" ! ! !on a motorway at just 60mph thank god

the rear brakes also were worn!

my mate was working on a transit in ford once and as he pulled in to the garage and broke the pads snapped and fell onto the floor they where so thin!

in otherwords why risk your life and others driving a defective van...............
ring merc and see if you can swap early??

had the whole breakng system go on me once due to weeks of grinding brakes. lucky i was only doing 10 mph so i rolled to a stop. the previous day i had been doing 70 mph on the mway!!
