Had a great day out today at Monkey world! Shame about some of the fences in places but I tried to use to my advantage when I wasn't able to shoot through them.

Anyway here are my Favourite ones so far - c&c welcome!

Couldn't agree with you guys more! It did upset me little seeing them all locked away! Some of photos make it seem like they are trapped.

Maybe this one is a bit happier? .... lol! Slightly out of focus but you get the point

Nice photos, especially the chimp p**n,
I like how the little one's just checking out the show.

There's a new series of Monkey Life on Ch5 at 6pm every night,
I have it on series link and watch it every day.

The thing you have to remember about these animals is they've come from the pet trade,
illegal poaching, medical research, or beach photographers props.

Alot of them had horrific lives before they were rescued and without Monkey World most of them would be dead.

It may be sad seeing them behind bars, but it's their only hope of living a 'normal' life.

Also a few species are part of the captive breading programme and do eventually get released back into the wild.

Nice pics but the ones behind fences are kinda ruined imo, that said they would make great campaign photos for a charity like WSPA ;)
