12/09/06 VX broke down due to an ECU failure :( Wasn't until the 30/10/06 that I got the car back on the road as I was away from home for a while.

Fitted Eibach springs

31/10/06 Driving after it being fixed looked down as it turned 4444 lol :D

Well I think thats about it lol, took a while and not sure why I did it (guess it gives a good history of the car if I was to sell lol) and what else would you do when you're at home on a saturday night  haha

Most of the pics were from my mobile so not the best unfortunately but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless....also I hope its ok posting this many pics?!

very nice love the red leather.

Sweet motors. Very much enjoyed mine.

Cheers guys.

Ben, saw a white dc2 all caged up etc being loaded onto a trailor at castle combe yesterday, looked sweet!

Guy, think it was £140 from www.scaredstifff.com - they are near Daventry. Horizon motorsport is probably nearer to you and Christurbo on here recommends them; he had his VX fettled by them.

As for the hairdresser comment- don't care what people think or if you do look a plank with the roof off...its just so much fun being behind the wheel! I know you want one deep down fred lol

Lovely Gary - glad you are enjoying it! How are you finding it around the track?

Horizon are fantastic full stop... and are easy on the pocket. Ive heard good things about SS too though.

Awesome fun mate! feels like it belongs there and I seem to get on with it very well also.

Mine needs a service and MOT come March so I will be getting quotes from all the usual suspects- Plans, TMS, Horizon and SS :)

I'm surprised you can afford to run a car, what with all the camera film you obviously get through! ;)

Nice car though, fair play. I'm still angry you never came round and took me out in the Focus though.....:(

Thanks Ian.

Sorry Dan lol, its in Kingswood though and i still speak to the guy I sold it to!

very nice m8, where the hell did you find a Y reg with 2500 milles on!?! Thats the only VX I've seen with lower miles on than mine (9500) hang onto it me yo uhave a goone one there in the best colour too ;)

lol yeah I know mate its pretty crazy huh! Unfortunately one of the downsides to it having so little milage was the ECU failure! Due to it not being driven frequently the previous owner often used a booster pack on the battery which 'spiked' the ECU and caused it to become faulty over time.

Dave- I'm a student in my final year at university.

crikey, I was thinking of getting a trickle charger for mine but I think giving it a run once a week might be a better idea by the sounds fof it

Cheers guys :)

Jonny, trickle chargers are fine mate- there's a few recommendations of good ones on the vx forum.

Was very thirsty mate and I could see myself losing my licence again....the thing was dam quick and loved being driven hard; I saw 158mph on the GPS!

Thanks cat :)
