my windscreen cracked

following a lorry down the A17 it whiped up a big stone and chiped and cracked it .

so i phoned the the glass help line elephant gives you and i cant get it fixed till late next week!

might sound daft but my policy runs out with them on wednesday do you think they will be funny about me claiming for a new windscreen with four days left on my insurance?

i wudnt of thought so mate. they shud jus replace it, when i had mine done all i did was phone autoglass didnt phone the insurance. They took my car reg and insurance provider and did it that way

Same here, and mine was only 2 days before renewal, no problems at all.

there are often more than just 1 place you can have it done per insurance company. Ring places such as RAC vehicle windscreens and see if they can do it quicker.

Your claim should be valid because you haver registered it before your insurance expires expires. They have to honour the claim.

Should be fine. Plus if repaired you don't have to pay excess!
