Hi. I bought a 182 a few weeks ago and it has refused to start a few times. It starts fine a few times and suddenly doesn't. There's just a click but everything else works. I'm guessing it's probably the common solenoid/battery/starter motor problem. I wondered if you could recommend an independent over here who wouldn't cost the earth, rather than going to Shelbourne or C Hurst? There's also a rattle from heat shield and air con needs re-gassed. If you didn't get sorted I could put you in touch with a guy. Just bought a 182 myself and was speaking to him regarding work. Pretty handy paid and is well known in the local car world,Renault specialist too.

If you don't get anywhere give Shelbourne a try... They're 100 times better than Charles Hurst... I also got work done at SERE in Lisburn (replacement fuel pump and front struts replaced under warranty on my 197).
