the sat nav on the n95 is very good. Cost me £4.50 for a week or you can get a year for £41 or 3 years for £43. I had to stand outside my car before i could get a signal, but it might just have been where i were.

I have version 11 on my phone, where can i get v.12??

What exactly are you paying for? Is that the voice navigation? Is it possible to use the sat nav without the voice or is it too tricky when driving?

So you need a good signal to connect to GPS first and then it remains fine?

Cant decide whether to get standard N95 or 8GB......

Thats what I'm thinking, best offer I've seen is £40/month (18months) 750mins, 500txts + 3m half price and free phone so average £37/m.

I love the black and want the improved spec but not sure if I wanna go back to vodafone.

Some better deals on standard atm as expected, maybe hold off for better deal on 8GB.....so confused!

I dont think it works unless you pay for it. Well i couldnt get it to anyway. The voice guidance is good and not too annoying. It says in the instructions to first set up the gps by holding it 45 degrees in the outdoors. It remained once i got the signal.

So it's coming on other networks?! My renewal is in Jan (normally good deals out then) but I ideally want a 12month contract, will definitely wait till then and see what's about.

I never rush a thing, I have to check all my options first so I dont get screwed.

Inodaz, The sat nav works for free if you download maps onto memory card. The fee is for voice then yh?

i had maps on the phone but it was complicated to get working. The only way i could get the navigation was by going to extra services - add navigation - then buying it.

Hmmmm.....well my mate had got it working by downloading the maps and not paying. I'm seeing him this weekend, so I'll find out how he did it if you like (if you don't find out here 1st, sure some ppl know).

Oh and ONEVISH I have the £40 Vodafone deal. Pretty good deal actually and i cant fault the 8GB version atm.

TOMTOM will run on your N95 but you will need to use an external GPS receiver as the internal GPS is not compatable yet with the N95. Get route 66 its much better than nokia maps. It works with the internal gps so all you need is the phone. Full postcode search etc - PM me and i can help you out if you want Route 66 for your phone

yeah nothing in the folder :S

i tried the bluetooth jaking was s**t tbh you have to accept conection and couldnt view the gallery was just basics from what i saw nothing interesting.
