got cup spoiler getting painted this week

gonna get everything sorted out then when i get back from FCS drop it all in, gotta keep the 1.2 till then as i cant drive a 1.6 for my own use yet

heres the 1.2 bay at the moment
im sick of it being gutless
so a nice ride out one thursday, and i returned with this a k4m 1.6 16v with free gearbox
and then the strip down started, as i never seem to be able to just make do with standard and making life more complicated seems to be my way :rasp:
with the manifolds off its plain to see that theres scope for improvement
exhaust port and gasket
Inlet manifold and gasket potential for loads to come out
now as you can see from the above pics, the manifolds are not ideal, i aim to cure this breathing problem
for starters the cast exhaust manifold makes me ill
so here is my solution
with the flange chopped a bit and it stuck in a vice, welded back up she fits like a glove
looks better too

now thats the exhaust sorted but what am i going to do about really poor inlet

I'll swap you my lights for an LPG conversionyes the GAS POWERED Sunshine bus will remain a propane burner

so i have decided to port my own head
the engine originally had a 90 degree upward swept inlet manifold on but with it going to be running boddies i feel ports need a slight ajustment, a fair bit of material off top to help curve airflow down and also smooth the small side radius to increase airflow at valve end of port. and just a general tidy of the rest of it someone will come along and tell me im doing wrong, probs right :rasp:

and the finished product as far as im concerned its ALOT smoother than it looks :S
