Nearly snapped my key, no spare!

Noticed some how my key had bent very slightly whilst in my pocket! No idea how but when I tried to put it in my ignition it wouldn't fit in. Managed to bend it back into place and goes in but slightly nicks a bit on the way out.

Not to keen on this incase it snaps. How would I go about getting a replacement?

You can go to a key cutters and as long as they're good enough they'll do you a copy with a chip

You can get the key bit out of the fob fairly easy, so just get a new key cut & swap the metal bits over.

The plastic part of mine was ruined, so I bought a second hand genuine Renault key off ebay for like £7, and have just swapped my fob circuit and metal blade over. Obviously some key cutters can copy the chip but i preferred to just swap mine. So as above just get a spare, and have the metal bit cut to match.

Spot on, I was under the impression I'd have to go to Renault, bend over and take it like a... Man?
