Need a suggestion to hide my iPod

My current setup means that my ipod connector sits in the centre console area, in front of the cigarette lighter. As my glove box doesn't come out, drilling through it to store my ipod in there wasn't an option. Now, I don't mind my ipod in the centre console, I just don't want it on display, especially if I one day, accidentally forget to take it out with me!

Any ideas as to what I can do/buy/use to hide it?

Glove box doesn't come out? I thought all Clio's had the removable rear...

Tiny 'slit' in the rear of the glove box, done.

slot at the front of the glove box where the lock joins when you close it, my ipod cable runs left from the head units across the top of glove box and then through the hole..... ipod then sites and stays still in the cupholdery cut out thing (wtf is that for????)

laddo at the shop where i got my headunit could supply a long enough cable so it could be stored under his driving seat.

Although as said, tiny slot cut into the board at the back of the glove box sounds better

or not cut one at all and use the lock hole.....

dont see why you'd need to when you can just feed it through the existing one.

not to hand, could get you some in the morning if you like?

took me two mins to do, pulled head unit out, fed the cable round to the left in the hole where head unit goes, fed along the top of glove box until i saw it at the hole for the lock. pulled it through. head unit in. done.

Did you take the glove box out? I'm not sure if its just a Cup thin, wouldn't have thought so, but there doesn't seem to be any way of taking the glove box out?

nope dont need to take it out, dont need to do anything complicated. just the headunit then feed it across. its easy.

Ive got ipod video, i know this is off the subject in question, but i get this annoying thing that my cd player keeps telling me that i need to restart my ipod, why does it do this randomly?? I have to unconnect it and reconnect before i can select tracks again. I have a sony head unit. Is there a setting somewhere on the ipod i need to change? i also noticed even when i turn the cars engine off the ipod stays on for same reason and the battery sometimes runs flat.

you need to change the ipod firmware and also d/c the ipod when you turn off radio
