I work as an IT technician at a hospital. Obviously we have a s**t load of servers and at the end of each day we have to check the amount of free space on each of them and note the value down in a spreadsheet. Helps us to see if there's been any dramatic change and means we have something for auditing purposes.
Anyway we currently use dameware utilities to see the free space on each server but it takes bloody ages because you have to scroll down the list finding the specific servers, right clicking on each one and selecting disk spaces and then manually entering the values in a spreadsheet.
Does anyone know if there's a piece of software that will automatically record the disk values for you?? it's becoming a pain in the a*se so it would help us loads, any tips from those in the know??
