Need help suspention issue

Mk2 ph2 campus sport.

The near side spring has snapped so just got a set of standard kyb but they seem a heck of a lot bigger than the original to the point wereby if i put the top mount on then the coils are near enough going to be touching!

Does the campus sport have different springs to a standard 1.2 I did give the reg to get them but i now have a car with no suspention on it and really need it back on the road.

When I say a heck of a lot bigger than the original I mean as in 2 more coils (I did check against the offside one to make sure too).

Aftermarket springs probably the wrong length get some new or used oem
