  An old banger!

id say go for a valver, they look far more aggressive and as wongy says the prices at da moment are really close!!!

pimpjuice

oh ok den

u could by it then part ex or sell it for a valver

how old are u

if i were buying a clio now id go for a williams as there a lot more affordable

when i bought my valver equivalent age spec willy cost about 3k more then my valver, now there well cheap

if ur 18/19 then i guess its gotta be a vavler. almost as much go and wicked looks as the willy is uninsurable fora reasonable premium at this age if ur older then its gotta be a willy 3 there the best !!!! lol

Thats a valid point Wongy, but pimpjuice you have to ask you this at the end of the day:

a)Do you want a car thats more likely to get you pulled or vandalised by jealous SCUM?

b)Do you want a car thats quicker, yes but you are more likely to loose your license because yes they have quick high speeds.

From the sounds of it, this is one of your first cars, i tried looking for valvers and Im sorry but I couldnt find any with low mileage, to be honest the majority have been thrashed.
To say the least your grandad doesnt sound like an 18 yr old boy racer, I reckon he has looked after that car really well and you wont have many problems.

At the end of the day in my opinion (for now) its good to have a car that will take you up to 70/80 as fast as possible.

In terms of tunning your looking around 10-15bhp increase for HP stage 1, am getting in 2weeks for around the £400 mark and then Stage 2 is £1200 you get polished port/skimmed head etc taking you to about 140bhp but the car has a lot of torque low ranger and it a quick and nippy motor and will be even quicker when you get a stage 2.

I I were you, get the car enjoy it, see what the speed is like and then decide 4 months down the line.

Id get the RSi.. nice little motor, and you can make them just as good if not better than a Valver..

Ive heard the pipercross draws in too much hot air, but a safe bet would be the HP one which has a cold air feed and and get the under bonnet scoop. If you give us a couple of weeks, Ill tell you what they are like.

each to their own really

but rsi are rsi, im sure they go well but i dont see why someone would choose one over a valver, im sure if the same was asked of valver owners they all would drive willy if they could afford it, but im saying valver is same price as rsi and i would not throw my money at a rsi. even going on looks alone. the rsi does not looks too sporty either

but hey for 800 that rsi is a bargain

a)Do you want a car thats more likely to get you pulled or vandalised by jealous SCUM?

not really when driven normally ivenever been pulled, vandalised, now and again but the admiring looks far outweight this. its gets loads loooks

b)Do you want a car thats quicker, yes but you are more likely to loose your license because yes they have quick high speeds.

this is complete bull sh*t. its a matter of control. fast cars does make u lose licenceses its the people who drive. im sure u could lose ur license in a 1.0 popular fiesta

on intake if u want noise and dont mind losing power get a piper cross otherwise stick with performance element in the OE airbox or a sealed ind kit

pimp juice, when you do get a car, remember not too drive it like your crazy insane honda friend!! if you drive like a twonkl your bound to end up smashing your car up, hurting others and yourself, looking like an idiot and putting your insurance up. yeah get a car thagts quick but it doesnt mean you have to drive it quick, both an rsi and a valver are very quick, perhaps you should consider a smaller clio??? good luck and take care:)
