Does any body Here know if a gearbox from Clio 172 would fit to a Clio 1,8 16v?

Probably not, but you might be able to fabricate an adapter plate. The ratios are very similar though so I dont really see the need to swap!

I dont know if they are stronger but if you are going to buy L.S.D like my I is cheper to get it for the 172 than 16v???????????
