Need someone to change my springs please!

Hello everyone, my clio is currently on 60mm lowering springs, they need to go back to standard for insurance purposes cause I'm 17.

With local garages asking for £200 for this job which I can't afford, I was hoping someone on here could do them for? (Paid obviously)

If you are based in coventry or surrounding areas and would be willing to do this please leave a comment below with where you're based and how much you'd charge, thanks in advance everyone!

Hi mate I have thought about this but I have 0 tools, so would have to buy axle stands, jack etc , all of which I highly doubt I will ever use again, and I would prefer for someone that knew what they were doing to do it if possible mate

I don't suppose working on cars is everyones cup of tea especially mine lol.. I think itd have to be something you enjoyed for it to be worth spending money on tools but they could be a good investment if you were to try other jobs.. You can learn anything these days what with you tube and forums like CS.. Im sure someone will be along to help.. Isnt Fred BTM your way? Might be worth getting a quote.

I did just this a fair few years ago when i seized my engine in my XR3i. It was gonna cost a bomb to have all the work done by a garage so got stuck in and with the help of a mate we had the engine out in no time and ready for a bottom end rebuild. We also put it back in with not problems.
I'm no mechanic but had done 2-3 engine changes now and turbo'd my Sierra XR4i. Even done a snapped cambelt, head off, stripped and ground the valves in all done in an evening.
So if i can do it anyone can.
